Crawler-Type Shot Blasting Machine


Crawler-Type Shot Blasting Machine is suitable for cleaning small and medium-sized castings that are not prone to damage from impact. Its structure primarily consists of a reversible metal chain plate, paired with a disc on each side, forming a concave space to accommodate the castings. The shot blaster ejects steel shots from above the space, enabling the cleaning and strengthening of the parts. The steel shots and debris flow through the gaps between the chain plates and the holes in the plates, allowing for recycling.


The rubber shot blasting machine crawler offers advantages such as lower production costs, simpler assembly processes, and quicker replacement. More importantly, rubber's high elasticity results in almost no noise during operation, and soft metal parts rolling on the rubber crawler are not subject to impact damage, ensuring product quality.


Structural features of main components


 1.Bucket elevator

The bucket elevator is comprised of spindle wheel swinging reducer, drums, delivery belt, buckets and tension device. The characters as follows:

◆The shield is made of steel welding together. And there is a testing door at side for maintenance, changing buckets and remove the block of shots at the bottom of elevator.

◆Centrifugal gravity approach. The buckets lift the shots to the top of elevator then the shots fall into screw conveyor by centrifugal gravity approach.

◆Mouse lung-type drum, raised in middle. It can add friction force to belt and reduce the tension of belt, thus it prolongs the life of belt and avoid block of shots between drum and belt.

◆There is backstop device fixed on elevator in case of reverse when the

  power is cut off.

2.Blasting turbines

The blasting turbines are the key parts of shot blasting machine. This series of wheel head is Q036 high effective wheel head. It is made up of electric motor, wheel blade, blade, wear guard plates and so on.



 3.Air wash type Separator

This equipment adopts BE curtain type separator, which is produced according to Swiss + GF + DISA technology. It is comprised of separating drum, separating area,  shots bin and so on.

The mixture of grits and dirt lifted by elevator to the top and sent by screw conveyor into separator. At this time, the airflow from air intake at the speed of 4~5m/s blows against the mixture. The little dirt and others enter into dust extraction system and the pure grits are left. Adjust the split of actuator plate in separator and wind baffle, we can get ideal separation.

 4.Screw conveyor

In order to reduce the height of equipment, there are screw conveyor fixed at the bottom of blasting room which are drove by motor separately. They collect and delivery steel shots to the bottom of elevator.

The screw conveyor is comprised of spindle wheel swinging reducer, screw shaft, plummer block and shield. It is a device to delivery steel shots and a very important part of steel shots circle system. Screw conveyor is made by our company, universal, changeable and reliable. The blades are made of 16Mn steel. And the inner and outer circles are processed under special techniques which can prolong the life of blades.

One the screw conveyor, it paves grids and wearing rubber leakage plate which will protect the screw conveyor from damage caused by steel shots.

5.Steel shots supply system

  We use electromagnetic valve to control the supply of shots remotely. It can avoid damaging motor, blocking in impeller heads and hurting people caused by usual controller.Each valve pipe has a valve plate which can be used to adjust shot blasting volume and reduce the wearing of blades, disport ball wheel, directional sheath and wearing plates.

 6.Dust removing system

This machine adopts vibrating bag type dust collector as dust removing system. When we exhaust air from cleaning room and no air send in, there will be some certain negative pressure formed in cleaning room, thus we prevent dust flying out. The dust emission density is ≤80mg/cbm which meets the standard of national environmental protection.
